| Truth is the life of news, the journalists'never changed professional creed, and the basic premise which is helpful for dissemination of news to achieve its social function.But our false news, which is contrary to the principle of truth, appeared here and there in the fact. It is very hard to defend the truth. Whatever in the developed Western journalism, or in the modern China which is in the phrase of social transition, they all have the phenomenon of broadcasting false news. Now along with the information and communication technology's continuous advance, it can be compared to be cancer which could swallow the life of the news and threaten the healthy development of journalism. At the same time, news media's credibility and the image of journalists also be seriously damaged, because of the flooding false news.Studying the characteristics and causes of false news and discussing false news'prevention measures are very useful. It can enhance the credibility of the media, and building a harmonious society in our socialist country. Many experts and scholars at home and abroad, and even journalists have never stopped to study the solutions to prevent the false news.This paper is mainly based on the "journalists" magazine's selected the"top ten false news"in recent years. From the ethical point of view, using the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis methods and describing the performance characteristics of contemporary false news. It analysis ethical dilemmas and combine the media regulation, so that we can find solutions through relying on the construction of healthy and harmonious public opinion environment. It will be helpful to try to find ways to reduce and prevent the occurrence of false news and to realize the social value of media.
