The problem of the common people is the hot point in the history of the periods of Wei, Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties which is discussed in many papers. But there are few papers discussed from the relationship of Liusong Dynasty and the common people. The writer finds that the system of influential families of generations changed greatly, and that leads to the decline of the system, and on the other hand, the status of the common people has raised in the period which plays an important role in the following history. With the method of experiment and analysis, the paper is analysed the relationship of Liusong Dynasty and the common people and the development of the common people.Part one is narrated the development of the common people.420AD, LIU Yu established the Song Dinasty,which stands for the beginning of a new era, which stands for the declination of influential families of generations and the refoundation of the imperial power. LIU Yu is from the common people and grabs power in dependment on the common people.Therefore, in Liusong Dynasty, the status of the common people has raised in the period.They come into power, and they have became the domonating power in the society.Part two, the paper is analyzed the social condition and its influence of the development of the common people. There were their own reasons for the development of the common people, plus the social element. The declination of the gentry lied in their own corrupting and inability, while the common people have stepped in the ruling class with their own wisdom. Thus there were sharp contrasts in power between the two classes, which is beneficial to the development of the common people.Part three analyzed the political condition of the development of the common people from the political system and imperial massacre. In the Song Dynasty, the system of ministry and Zhongshu have changed and the status of Dianqian has rised. Those paved the way for the development of the common people. Also, imperial massacre happened again and again, some common people have joined in the fight and put in the important positions.Part four analyzed the influence of the development of the common people. The writer firstly confirmed the positive role that the common people have played in history, as well as the negative role because of the historical and their own reasons, there were certain inevitable limits. With the advent of imperial civil examination system, this situation has been changed a lot.The common people were the important part in the history of the Liusong Dynasty who were developed in politics and economy, influenced every aspects in society.
