This research intends to explore the relationship among life satisfaction, social support and achievement goal orientation in high school students. 341 high school students were researched by Adolescents'Life Satisfaction Scale, Social Support Rating Scale and Achievement Goal Orientation Questionnaire. The results show that:(1) The students who had high social support were significantly higher than those who had low social support on life satisfaction.(2) On the satisfaction of friend, family, freedom, academic and school, the students of mastery goal were significantly higher than those of achievement approach goal, which were obviously higher than those of achievement avoidance goal. On environment satisfaction, the students of mastery goal were obviously higher than those of achievement avoidance goal, which were higher than those of achievement approach goal.(3) There was positive correlation between social support, mastery goal and life satisfaction. Achievement approach goal had significantly positive correlation with academic and school satisfaction; achievement avoidance goal had obviously negative correlation with the satisfaction of friend, freedom and school. Mastery goal had significantly positive relation with social support, but achievement avoidance goal was contrast to this.(4) There was significantly positive predictor of different satisfaction, that is: subjective support to the satisfaction of friend, family, freedom and environment; objective support to academic satisfaction; utilizations on social support to the satisfaction of friend, environment and school; mastery goal to the satisfaction of family, freedom, academic, environment and school; achievement approach goal to academic satisfaction. On the contrary, achievement avoidance goal was obviously negative predictor of freedom satisfaction.(5) Social support had partly mediating effect between Mastery goal and life satisfaction, and also had entirely mediating effect between mastery goal and friend satisfaction. |
