A Study On The Grammatical Structure Of Sv1osv2 In The Annals Of Sanguo

As an important period of Chinese history, the Three-Kingdom is quite unique, not only because of its historic factor, but also linguistic one. Language is always changing with the society, new vocabulary, new grammar, will come up as the social changes take place.This thesis aims at the structure of SV1OSV2 in the annals of the book of Sanguo, to find out the quantity and the characteristics of all the phrases with this structure. What attracts the writer most is that this book is mainly about the wars which indicates us that there must be many samples of the SV1OSV2 structure and they should have obvious characteristics according to the character of the book.Few scholars have studied this book on its grammatical value, but mainly about some kinds of words, for instance, preposition, adverb and so on . This thesis tries to establish a table which consists of these parts, the number of every type o SV1OSV2, how the structure of SV1OSV2 develops. These introductions are presented to explain the reason why we chose this book as our linguistic material.This thesis consists of 3 parts.The first part is on the Annals of Sanguo and its author, how this book is evaluated by scholars, what special importance it has,the instruction of Chen Shou,some earlier studies of the scholars on the Annals of Sanguo and the structure of SV1OSV2 . The third part is mainly on the grammatical analysis of the structure of SV1OSV2 in this book. We also compare it with the same structure in the book of Zuozhuan and that in the book of Shiji.
