| "Neologism"got the highest attention and affection of the ruling class of the country as soon as its publishment. Because of its particular thought and literary value, the "Neologism" occupies a unique position in the history of literature in the Han Dynasty, getting the unfailing attention. The "Neologism" is an important work which can not be ignored whether in the history of literature or the history of idea. In this paper, I attempt to do some further research on "Neologism" on the basis of previous studies.The text is divided into three chapters.Chapter I mainly analyses that the " Neologism" demonstrates a reflection and revelation on history in the era of the early Xi Han Dynasty, and simply compares the part of "Qin's Fault" with Jia Yi's "theory of the Qin's Fault", which protrudes the characteristic of "Qin's Fault" in the " Neologism". This chapter also discusses that the "Neologism" reflects the compatibility in adopting other theory and thought.Chapter II focuses on the insight and prediction of "Neologism" on the theme of the times. This chapter Analyses that Lu Jia animadverts emperor's desire for immortal life and remind of the danger of relatives of the emperor on his mother's or wife's side being in power in view of historical experience and practical problem. Ironically, these two problems eventually became to be the theme of the times in Xi Han Dynasty, and created a very bad impact on society. Which just reflects Lu Jia's keen grasp on and profound understanding of the political issues, and also the insight and prediction on the theme of the times.Chapter III analyses that due to Lu Jia's unique attitude on life and his right evaluation on the ruling class leading by Liu Bang who receives little education, he eventually shape the "Neologism" with unique literature characteristic. On linguistic characteristic, he uses many rhetorical methods such as figure of speech, parallel sentences, and antithesis and so on; On the style of his writing, Lu Jia accompanies Liu Bang as a "guest", exactly speaking as "Imperial Teacher" rather than an "Official" to guide the Emperor how to rule the country, which makes the "Neologism" with a calm and easy style of writing; On the aspect of structure, Lu Jia strongly advocate the importance role of "virtue" on ruling the country, therefore, the "Neologism" forms a structure of "virtue" as the core of the Work. |
