The New Curriculum Reform is a profound educational change, which is a full range of challenges for teachers. It can be said to be a "professional revolutionary" to the teacher. In the new curriculum implementation, the teacher is undoubtedly the central figure, and teachers can't be passive to meet the New Curriculum Reform, but to be the active to adapt it. English is an important curriculum in senior middle school. It is important to analysis their condition in adaptation to the New Curriculum Reform.Adaptation refers to the process of change, while adaptability is a kind of adaptive capacities. Because the teachers'knowledge background, technology and experience are different, their schedule and degree are disparity obviously. The maladaptation means that the teacher can't adjust their mind and action actively and correctively in the completion of their teaching process, so that their actions deviate from the standard. Maladaptation is different from adjustment problems and nonadaptation in meaning and significance. Maladaptation is statement in the process of adaption. It is one-sided cognitive, passive implementation according psychology standards, and passive requirements and inefficient development according to education standard.The High School English Curriculum Standards proposed specific objectives of English teaching, requiring teachers to make a comprehensive idea to adjust it; English courses are compiled by the module form, changing the situation of "the same book in thousands of schools". The curriculum are changing from the "unity" to "choice", requiring the teachers possessing course selection, curriculum development, integration capability baced on researching students; the High School English Curriculum Standards abandon the teaching method of instillation, promoting task-based language method. It encourages students to participate and experience in activities to strengthen student learning, and growth in exploration. The new curriculum reform promotes cooperation and cultural exploration of teachers, asking teachers to work from the isolated situation toward cooperation.In the survey, interviews and lectures, the teachers'maladaption contains that they agree and identy the concept surface but achieve it "know without line" or "fragmented" .In teaching, teachers lecture mode similar to the lack of self-expression and innovation. At the same time, teachers research ability, curriculum development capacity needs to be improved; In the New Curriculum Reform, many teachers felt pressure larger, more passive and forced in self-experience. The task-based teaching and research study is a"performance show", unable to achieve emotional and values goals; The cooperation between teachers are random, there is no system to ensure cooperation and inefficient. These phenomena mainly are due to the New Curriculum "dualism" of the cognitive model to understand the concept to form the surface understanding. The teachers'capability structure needs to be optimized, in particular the research ability focusing on teaching to be upgraded. The curriculum development capacity should be lead. Moreover, the research province situation inadequate, single evaluation system, technical-training are the objective reasons; Social authority of the cultural and traditional cultural constraints the teachers active adaptation.In order to change the maladaptation in The New Curriculum Reform,we should resist the mental digestion of teachers, exclude teachers difficult emotions to promote psychological adjustment of teachers. We should optimize the ability structure of teachers, increase class awareness of innovation, improve the research level, especially in the domain of teaching as research, form the"leading group"to develop a proactive program. We can add a new situation in the province situation research in the curriculum reform, return of eligible assessment,promoting school-based teacher training, making the security mechanism better; Besides, we should establish the inter-cultural cooperation, training teachers to explore the awareness and promote social participation and support of the new multi-curriculum reform.
