In this period the social order was disrupted and the people living in an era of extreme hardship.China's modern philanthropy is generated in this turbulent era and had got a great development. During this period a large number of charitable institutions, charitable organizations, charitable people emerged.They had made tremendous contributions for the relief cause of modern China's society and public service. Taoism is China's native religion,it has a thinking promote people to do something is right.In modern China, Taoism in modern philanthropy should not to be ignored. It is also an integral part of modern philanthropy. On the one hand, it brought forword Taoist eharitable thought which has a modern sense. On the other hand, Taoism established a number of Taoism charitable organizations.
