Sociolinguistic Study Of Huarong Kinship

This article combines traditional dialectology and sociolinguistics.It uses literature search method, described method, more people sampling method, questionnaire survey method, comparative analysis method and quantitative analysis method to study common kinship of chengguan town, Hua Rong.We try to learn more about the use of kinship status and to display the current face of Hua Rong kinship.This article is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is an introduction to general situation of Hua Rong, overview and research of Hua Rong dialect, research of Chinese kinship terms and the meaning and purpose of this study. The second chapter is about Hua Rong dialect phonology and the profile of kinship terms.The third chapter is about sociolinguistic survey of Hua Rong kinship.It is the main part of the article, including research methods, questionnaire design, respondent and co-workers, findings and analysis.The forth chapter is about the characteristics and causes of Hua Rong kinship.Through analysis of survey results, we summarize that generation, age variable term and other variable terms affect the use of Hua Rong kinship, and the five major causes are social psychology, language environment, language contact, regional cultural,education and media.Through investigation and analysis, we think that Hua Rong kinship system has the flexibility of use and compatibility with the context of modern language environment. Mandarin and Xiang dialect have a great impact on the Hua Rong kinship.
