Asia Minor is a bridge linked Asia,Europe and Africa. It also linked the Greek Civilization and the non-Greek Civilization.The Greek City-states of Asia Minor are on the Western bank of the Asia Minor Peninsula,they are Border zone between Weatern Countries and Eastern Countries,just as a bridgehead in wartime, an exchange platform in peacetime. And the fertile land,comfortable climate,rich resources,made the Asia Minor to be a highly developed place. But because of scattered power,they were also coveted by great powers.So,since had been set up by Greeks,after several twists and turns,they hovered between war and peace with the ruling regime change,played different parts in different time.The developments of history affected the City-States of Asia Minor,and the City-States of Asia Minor affected history,too.So the relationship of the Greece and Persia which plays an important part in the development of history,affected by City-States of Asia Minor more.At the same time,not only the Greek City-States of Asia Minor linked the communication of the Greece and the outside world,but also undertook the development of the Greek history, and because of the Asia Minor's achievements,the originality can not be neglected.In this part of history,there're different characteristic in different time.This thesis made time to be a clue,devide this question into four stages to analyze,include the beginning of the Persian conquest,the Persian War,the Peloponnesian War and the Alexander Crusade.It can be concluded that the Greek City-states have great influence on the Greek Persian relations,even the Mediterranean.
