The Mongolian original of The Secret History of Mongols already have been lost. The Secret History of Mongols extant is a Mongolian special volume.Content words and function words in The Secret History of Mongols were annotated side translations.The side translations helps understand the meaning of the words and also convenient for people to study Mongolian. The meaning and the grammatical forms in The Secret History of Mongols are significant different from the modern Mongolian vocabularies.The side translations are the most powerful basis for understanding the meaning of the words.Various aspects of studies of The Secret History of Mongols became deeply and detailed, however, the study of the side translations especially,the studies of the side translations of the grammatical forms have not been done systematically. The thesis mainly studies the side translations of differrent forms of every single word of the personal pronouns in The Secret History of Mongols, investigates the patterns and illuminates the meaning.The thesis consists of five parts:the introduction,the first chapter,the second chapter, the conclusion and the appendix.The Introduction includes the purpose,the methods,the prototyle and the significance of the research.The first chapter introduces the forms and the basic characteristics of the personal pronouns in The Secret History of Mongols.The second chapter counts the side translations of differrent forms of every single word of the personal pronouns and explaines the patterns and meaning in The Secret History of Mongols.The conclusion summarizes the whole contents of the thesis.Finally,the Appendix makes a list of personal pronouns in The Secret History of Mongols.
