This research is based on such hypothesis, which holds that the Mandarin Chinese particle'le'is a cognitive bound-marker ,and this marker follows the reaction of our cranial nerves, especially when our nerves manage the factor of'Quantity'. In fact, the cranial nerve is sensitive to the locomotion or the state of'Quantity', which involves the accumulation and reduction, emerging and changes, or even the interaction between each other. With the analysis deep into the proterotype in daily life, and the demonstration to verbal fact, we came to the initial conclusion in two aspects: from the objective aspect, the particle'le'is a natural bound-marker; While from the subjective aspect, human's mood and modality plays a key role in forming a subjective marker, especially when the'Quantity'bears certain social value or meaning. So we also take modality, adverb, and some other subjective factors in to consideration. In all, our study aims at the interaction between'le'and'Quantity'.
