When the national anti-Japanese salvation movement was rising, the Kuomintang authority arrested the National Salvation Association's seven leaders in the early morning on November 23, 1936. This caused the famous"Seven Gentlemen"incident in history. But the Seven Gentlemen incident introduced the National Salvation Association's idea of the anti-Japanese salvation and make the power of anti-Japanese salvation movement become strong.This article take the National Salvation Association's major leaders"Seven Gentlemen"as the key, analyzed the situation of the anti-Japanese salvation before the building of the National Salvation Association, introduced the process of establishment of the National Salvation Association. Analyzes the Seven Gentlemen'ideas of the anti-Japanese salvation movement, which include the strategy of act in public, to form a broad anti-Japanese national united front and take a moderate non-violent line.
