Leibniz was the first philosopher who put forward the "possible worlds" concept, and he expounded a number of important ideas on the basis of this concept. From the 20th century 50s to 60s, in view of the urgent need for the development of modal logic, Leibniz's ideas have been developed. A number of modal logicians have developed a modal semantic theory which is called the possible world semantics, so that the development of modal logic entered into a new era. Transworld identity and transworld identifieation problems is an important issue of possible world theory, and with regard to a wareness and understanding of this issue. There is a wide range academic debate in the field of logic. This paper attempts to elaborate transworld identity and tyansworld identifieation problems in detail with the combination of previous logicians views .This article may be divided into three parts to discuss transworld identity and tyansworld identifieation problems in possible world. The first part describes the history formation and development of possible world theory. From Leibniz's presentation of the "possible worlds" concept to the formation of possible world semantics, logicians proposed and developed a variety of views about possible worlds around the concepts of possible worlds. The second part focuses on transworld identity and tyansworld identifieation problems in possible world theory. By analyzing the same background of transworld identity and tyansworld identifieation problems and the various logician's views on this issue, this part also puts forward my own opinion. The third part is the full text summary. |
