In Teaching of Chinese as a second languge, it is one of the teaching difficulties to distinguish synonymous terms. In this paper, monosyllabic nouns in "Chinese Proficiency Outline Graded Words and Characters" (as amended) and two-syllable noun with the same morpheme and meaning in "Modern Chinese Dictionary" (fifth edition) and "reverse Modern Chinese Dictionary" definitions have been selected as object of study. Scholars'research about single and double syllable verbs, adjectives, adverbs, position of words, etc in the past in reference, based on corpus of Chinese Linguistics Research Center at Peking University in Corpus,we try to compare and analyse synonyms.trying to learn semantics, pragmatics, cognitive linguistics theory, we describe the situation of single and double contrast syllable nouns.We also try to discuss their origin and existence cause according a theoretical justification.And we will explain the similarities and differences of synonymous terms from the perspectiation of languge communication as possible as we can. Through comprehensive consideration of the language, culture characteristics of the odd and even term use,we hope to find the good methods for conducting teaching of Chinese as a second languge in terms of distingush odd and even terms.This article is divided into four parts.Partâ… :Introduction, study and research to determine the scope of research on the synonymous status of single or double syllable word overview of the research to illustrate the significance of research objectives and methods.Partâ…¡:the scope of the corpus synonymous single or double syllable nouns are summarized in the form of the corresponding conditions and specific analysis of the corresponding defined bit situation, after that we would probe the origin of the wide gap among their proportion.Partâ…¢:Based on the theory of pragmatic,we would compare the difference of the monosyllabic noun and disyllabic noun, focusing on interference to use synonym from context, intellectual of communicators intellectual and other factors,then we would give the brief explanation about some certin phenomenon.This part is the research focus.Partâ…£:In this part,we world combine the the syllable in the odd and even term semantic and pragmatic analysis and teaching and a survey conducted of Anhui University foreign students to discuss the issue of teaching synonyms and try to put some solutions.
