In recent years, the Christian faith is very popular in the broad masses in the rural areas of China. Particularly, rural women believers are the majority, so that they naturally become an effective strength that can not be ignored. Since reform and opening up, especially in 1980, as Chinese mainland gradually expand the scale of the Christian religion, the research on the topic of Christianity became the hot subject. Many Scholars which from Literature, religion, sociology, history, ideology and political, examine it from multiple dimensions. With the boom off the Christian localization, scholars of various disciplines put more attention on Secularization of Christianity. They made a systematic study on abstract sense of Christian culture and thought.Do this reasearch in the unique rural cultural background of Central Plains, hoping to give women's studies perspective in china's cultural anthropology research, make it into a more comprehensive and extensive study space. As a study focus on the Christian faith of rurl women, I paid most attention to the unique culture of YouFang village and its women "believers". Observing their "faith" ceremony, especially the Christian discourse dominated by the "local knowledge"; interpretating the symbolic meaning of "belief, their Christian role-playing and "faith" motivation. Specifically, this paper mainly discusses the following aspects:In the first chapter, doing fieldwork on regional economic, social and cultural profile,as the background of Lives of women's faith in Youfang Village. The second chapter describes the whole church "ceremony" process of women "believers" in Zhouzhai.Chapter three does the case study on the "faith" ceremony of and interpretating the symbolic meaning, with the method of participant observation.Chapter four proposes the question:"Soul driven" or "God's call"? It interprets the true "faith" motivation of women "believers",from their life changes and inner feelings. The conclusion is consistent with the view of which said Chinese people's belief is pragmatistic. Finally,Discussed the co-realations of believers and politics in rural communities, anlyzed the realation and the relevant thoughts between Christianity and Moral Culture of rural communities. In a whole, this article is a fieldstudy of YouFang Village in the Eastern Henan Province, which is mainly around the life changes, the"faith" ceremony and the"faith" motivation, which belong to the 6 women "believers".That is based on my 40 day participant observation and in-depth interviews. It contains my personal understanding and about rural women's cultural life and culturetype.Although this understanding was not comprehensive, and even with a subjective bias,it covers my personal thinking of rural women's struggles and salvation, which between globalization and localization, Traditional and modern. Therefore,I put my rethinking on the issues of public Spiritual and cultural construction in China's rural communities. In particular, women's faith which can not be ignored.
