The Research And Review Of Wangbi's Yi-ology Method

As the one of the most important classics in the Chinese traditional sociaty, Zhou Yi has been constantly annotated in the later ages. Various of annotations may form an amazzingly river of iching philosophy. The method we take being different, there are many different schools. Generally speaking, we can divide these into two major schools, image-number and philosophical connotations. As the representation of the image-number school, the iching philosophy of han dynasty stuck to the idea that image-number has the priority. Thus this school turned out to be a cumbersome and rigid one. The iching philosophers between wei dynasty and jin dynasty tried their best to obtain the innovation. Wang Bi is undoubtedly a master of them. Having redefined the Zhou Yi, Wang Bi set off a revolution, which completed the transition from image-number to philosophical connotations.. As a result,Wang became an important iching philosopher, concerned by the Scholars.Although scholars have got a deep and multi-aspect understanding, tha dosen't mean the annotations are comprehensive. For instance,, in "scan image" issue, scholars have recognized that defining Wang Bi's idea as "ignoring the image-number" was not accurate and bagan to reconsider it, but in the process of correction, there were some phenomenen of overreaction that scholars misunderstood WangBi. In addition, whether Wang Bi used the Laots's way to solve the iching philosophy was ambivalent. It's necessary for us to take further researchment about this problem.Considering the starting point, the former scholars always focused on the specific research that Wang Bi applied to solve the iching problems, demonstrating the differences between his iching philosophy and the iching philosophy of Han. Besides, basing on the metaphysical trend, scholars highlighted the ideas of laozi and zhuangzi which are contained in the iching philosophy of Wang Bi.With the hope of getting innovation,this essay aims to re-consider the iching philosophy of Wang Bi from a new perspective.This paper will focus on the method that wang bi applied to research the iching philosophy. On the one hand, the specific methods and style. Wang Bi's "scan the image-number" ideas,the relationship image words and the relationship between the hexagrams. On the other hand, analysising the unique idea in the annotations of Wang Bi's iching philosophy, especially consiering the problem of "using Laots's method to deal with the iching philosophy", methodology of "meaning grasped words forgotten".and the Whole View of "chong ben ju mo". By adopting an ambilateral researchment, this paper may interpret the atypical method of Wang's iching philosophy.Moreover,the Chinese traditional characteristic of "writing while reviewing" will be shown in this paper.
