Creative Bazaar, a brand-new form of artistic designing and communication, combines aesthetic aspiration and commercial operation into industrialization. Creative Bazaar is studied in this paper from the perspective of creative designing in consumer culture. With Creative Bazaar as the main subject, the paper is concern about consumption and consumer culture, aesthetics in daily life, modern designing and creative and culture industries as well. All the key parts can be referred to in the 2nd,3rd and 4th chapter. Because Creative Bazaar is still developing and growing, it is difficult to collect research data in this field. So the systematic carding and analysis of Creative Bazaar, which is a new-born upstart, can be the innovative aspect in this paper.There are five chapters of the paper:The purpose, contents, significance and methodology of the paper, the background and literature reference of Creative Bazaar are dealt with in Chapterâ… .Consumption and the design in consumer culture are discussed in Chapterâ…¡. The author, in the first place, describes the correlation of consumption and consumer culture, the close relationship of innovative inspiration and design in consumer culture, the trends of modern art design. Then the author goes on how Creative Bazaar meets the need for creative design and more people involved in nowadays consumption.The history and development at present of Creative Bazaar is researched in Chapterâ…¢, which above all defines the concept of Creative Bazaar, the internal economic and cultural background of its appearance while exploring the originality and the economic and socio-cultural context for its growth. Next the author continues to narrate the history of Creative Bazaar and its development status both abroad and at home. At last, there is a summary dealing with the form of organization, operation and management of Creative Bazaar, and the designing features of its productions.Chapterâ…£is about Creative Bazaar in Beijing. In this section, activities of Creative Bazaar in Beijing from 2008 to 2009 are researched and studied in great detail through overview and case studying.The value and significance of Creative Bazaar is given in Chapter V. Creative Bazaar plays an important part in promoting creativity and calling for individuality. It renders art design into a universal and popular media. This chapter also discusses the influence of Creative Bazaar on the aesthetic and art designing community in China, the relationship of Creative Bazaar and culture and creative industries.
