"V dou V le"is a common form in the spoken modern Chinese, the specialresearch for it are very few, but only be referred while discussing"V adverb V…".The thesis plans to analyzes the structure, significance and function of the form fromdifferent angles, inspect related problems. The thesis divides into seven chapters.Chapter 1 is the preface part. We divide the research object, introduce thepurpose and significance of the selected topic, lead into the current studying situationabout it home and abroad, also the theories and methods that use in the thesis, andintroduce the source of language materials.Chapter 2 bases self on structuralism. It analyses the four modules and thefeature of"V", and points the syntax function. Then we explain the asymmetricphenomenon between affirmative and denying from with cognition linguistics.Chapter 3 sets off from construction grammar. The half-open, half-fixed"V douV le"is a union by form and significance. We analyze its construction meaning whichincluding semantic and pragmatic, also the relationship between the form andfollow-up sentences, and the multiple metal significances that shows in the context.Chapter 4 sets about the topic theory and focus theory of functionalism school.We prove"V dou V le"is a special copy-type of topic structure. Both the copy sidestake a site of focus, it make the form had a special function of outstanding focus.Chapter 5 investigates some other forms which are similar with"V dou V le".We focus on their commonness and personalities. We try to find the different semanticformation mechanism of"V dou V le"and"V ye V le".Chapter 6 inspects the distribution of"V dou V le"from dialect visual, explainsthe phenomenon that"dou"is being replaced by"ye"in north area of Wu dialect.Chapter 7 is the conclusion part. It summarizes the thesis, explains the value of it,and points out the expecting directions of in-depth studying in the future.
