In the meantime, it canappear separately before the predicate verbs or the predicateverbs in the disposal and passive construction. Its specialtyis obvious, which is worthy for us to have a research.A verb is added after the verb gei for the purpose ofexpressing. This variation of the grammatical structure is animportant factor of the function evolution from verb gei topreposition gei . The sources of the gei with disposal functionare the gei with causative function, the preposition gei whichmean benefit and impairment. The characteristic thatpreposition gei has the causative function is the source ofthe gei has the passive function, the preposition gei whichmeans impairment. In the process of evolution, there are severalpossibilities to understand a sentence. For the sentence"Xiao wang gei xiao li da le", there might be differentunderstandings of gei. The principle of highlighting with thehelp of the context is an important means to eliminateambiguity.
