The Related Research Of Multi-dimensional Locus Of Control,Subjective Well-being And Coping Style Of Postgraduate Masters In Shanghai

Today, as the advanced professionals in the immediate society, all aspects of master this group are concerned. Graduate students to understand the situation locus of control of their lives to explore the quality of learning, behavioral attribution, attitudes, and other aspects of life important. The focus of this study is to explore the current postgraduate structural components of the locus of control, trying to prepare graduate locus of control questionnaire for the investigation to provide an effective tool for their situation, while also looks locus of control and subjective well-being, the correlation between coping style.This study developed a questionnaire of Master of locus of control, which consists of four dimensions:ability, effort, background and luck. Locus of control can be summarized into two types:internal control and external control, which type of internal control composed by the ability and effort factors, external control composed by the background and the luck factors. Through exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis showed that the reliability and validity of the questionnaire better.The sample in this study was composed of 367 postgraduates from universities in Shanghai city. The results yielded are as follows: 1.Through the Survey, in general, Shanghai-based postgraduates tend to internal control.2. Master in Shanghai-based orientation in the internal control there are some differences, no matter what type of postgraduate subjects, girls tend to internal control type, the corresponding boys are more inclined to the external control type.3.The tendency of internal control based on multi-disciplinary arts students than liberal arts majors in college students, and multi-disciplinary engineering students is higher than the engineering majors in college students, science students in this basic difference does not exist.4.Master of coping styles in gender, grade and subject type were significantly different.5.Through structural equation model testing, locus of control were constructed and subjective well-being, coping style and locus of control of the full model, the two models fit index reached statistical requirements. Locus of control on the subjective well-being to a certain extent the role of individual psychological coping styles also affect the control of source types.6.Through structural equation model testing, locus of control in coping styles and subjective well-being see some intermediary role to play.
