| In present, there are there influential hypotheses of cognitive mechanism of insight, which invovles:the theory of representation change represented by Simon and Kaplan, the theory of progress monitoring represented by Ormerod and the model of prototypal event activation proposed by Zhang Qinglin. Based on the model of prototypal event activation, this study was designed to explore the effect of internal and external motivation mesured by scale and induced by guiding language on the logogriph activation of Chinese characters. We hypothesize that(1)the ones that have high scores on the Need for Cognition Scale have better activation of prototypal event, and the ones that have low scores have worse activation. (2)Induce the subjects' internal motivation of solving insight problems by guiding language, excitation might help prototypal activation, and induce subjects to give up might prohibit prototypal activation; there might is significant interaction of the internal motivition induced by language and that measured by scale. (3)Induce the subjects'external motivation of solving insight problems by guiding language, to plus and to reduce points of subjects' might promote prototypal activation, and the neutral group might be the worst. We designed there experiments to test and verify these hypotheses. First, the subjects of high and low internal motivition group were measured by the Need for Cognition Scale, to explore the effect of internal motivition measured by scle on the prototypal activation; second, based on controling the ability of solving puzzules and measuring by scale, hightening the difficulty, prolonging the time of target puzzles, adding filing puzzles, we used two kinds of guiding language that involved "encourage subjects to think with long time " and "lead subjects to give up thinking", to induce subjects' internal motivition of prototypal activation, and finally to explore the common effect of internal needs and internal motivition on the prototypal activation. Third, based on controling the ability of solving puzzules samely, we induced the external motivition of subjects by there kinds of guiding language the involved "pulsing points","reducing points" and neutral, trying to exprore the effect of external motivition on the prototypal activation. Using SPSS 17.0 to Count and analyze,we can conclude the following:(1)Internal encouraging can promote the scores of high internal motivition subjects on harder tasks of prototypal activation, and promote the scores of low internal motivition subjects on easier tasks of prototypal activation.(2) Internal encouraging can make subjects of lower ability have higher scores on harder tasks of prototypal activation.(3) The induced external motivition-adding scores group and reducing scores group were respectively compared with neutral groups, reducing scores group performed significantly better than neutral groups, but the achivement of adding scores group and neutral groups, adding scores group and reducing scores group were not significantly different.(4) The induced external motivition can only help to solve harder tasks of prototypal activation, and has no effect on easier tasks.(5) External encouraging(pulsing points) can make high ability subjects think harder tasks with long time, and external punishment(reducing points) can make low ability subjects think harder tasks with long time. |
