| The relations between the females and the religions are very close. In the origin and the development of the religions, females always are positive supporters, pious believers, also the promoters developing the religions. The whole of the Dongxiang nationality believe in Islamism, which has a profound impact on the thoughts, behavior, personality, social status and many other aspects of females from Dongxiang nationality.The paper starts from the feminism's viewpoint, using the strategy of quantitative and qualitative research, and adopting multiple methods. In the paper, we observed the religious life of the Dongxiang females from multi-aspects in Xiao Jinwan village, YuMen city, GanSu province, such as religious belief, religious ceremony, religious psychological characteristics, religious transmission and heritage, religious dress and so on. By the survey, we find that the belief of the Islamism is the core of the Dongxiang females. It influences their lives significantly and thoroughly. The feature of the contemporary religious life of the Dongxiang females is the result of many facts, which are Islamic tradition, family surrounding, school education, individual experience, personal quality, social environment and so on. Islamism not only pays special attention to the Dongxiang females, but also adds the shackles to their own liberty and development. Meanwhile, the Dongxiang females'religious belief and attitudes towards life have profound effect on maintaining the religious cultural tradition of their own nationality.In reality, there is a great difference between the Islamic concept——"treatment of females as inferior to males"and the female concept in religious classic——"males and females live in harmony."In order to fulfill their final goals, people may establish the objective and correct recognitions and viewpoints from individual, nationality and society according to their own needs of development, making the Dongxiang females move forward the Islamic final goals step by step. |
