In Tang Dynasty there appeared many calligraphers,companied with calligraphy theory prosperity. From Weijin Dynasty to Song Dynasty, the Tang Dynasty's calligraphy had been most to the performance of the Chinese calligraphy art achievements and unique charm, making the spirit of the Chinese aesthetic to a new state. Throughout the status of the Dynasty's calligraphy, we can easily find that in different historical periods it showed a different style of calligraphy and calligraphy thinking aesthetics. We are also deeply felt, in the development of calligraphy thinking aesthetics, the subjectivity of artistic creation has gone through a evolutionary process with "weak -strong". The evolution of the field of ideology and the confluence of three religions, as well as differences in each period was closely related to the focus. With the evolution of subjectivity as the entry point for discussion,I devided the calligraphy aesthetic and creative practice of Tang Dynasty into the Early Tang Dynasty, the prosperous Tang Dynasty, the middle Tang Dynasty, the late Tang Dynasty and commented them one by one, which was the main logical structure of this thesis.First of all,the first chapter mainly analysed the uniform character of the classical style on calligraphy. Personal preferences as a result of the rulers and the rule of law guarded in the fields of politics, economy and culture. Creative spirit on calligraphers was inhibited to a large extent. Artistic style was not beyond the art mode of Wangxizhi's. First, explained the era of cultural background forming the overall style of calligraphy in early Tang Dynasty. Especially re-integration in the field of ideology of Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism gone with a high degree of integration of political thought have an important impact on it.Second,from two aspects of calligraphy practice and theory with their interaction to explain why the overall style of calligraphy in early Tang was single. In the creation in calligraphy,would be the process of the establishing rules with the art practice of Ou,Yu,Chu and Xue. Despite their huge success, but they all copied the art mode of Wangxizhi in order to be lack of personality on calligraphy. On the theory, With studying the ideological contradictions and Transition shown in the thought of Sunguoting, I illustrated the spirit on subjectivity in early Tang Dynasty was inhibited greatly. The second chapter mainly analysed the double melody of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, showing the creation of Mad cursive and Regular script. Both of them had the same art spirit, purcuing masculine beauty. In this period, the subjectivity had been rising. First, explained the era of cultural background bringing about the state of prosperous Tang Dynasty. And then, I'd like to analyze the art characteristic of he creation of Mad cursive and Regular script one by one. Finally, By analysing the change about theory of calligraphy, I displayed that the subjectivity in the field of calligraphy had been rising.Last of all, the third chapter described the scene of the middle Tang Dynasty and the late Tang Dynasty with the features of strict rules and full of the taste of the Buddha. The middle Tang Dynasty had been thought as a great change in the Chinese literature and ar. First, Before analysing the the scene of the middle Tang Dynasty and the late Tang Dynasty, We must seize this premise of changes in the ideological and cultural diversity,giving rise to a new aesthetic ideal. Second, Experienced the war of Anshi, Intellectuals were eager to achieve the rejuvenation of prosperous Tang Dynasty. Therefore, Confucianism impacted on the creation of calligraphy. So it was reasonable that the art personality of this period was full of strict rules. Intellectuals wanted to realize save the society which had been decadent. On the other hand, After the war, accompanied by the Buddha, The spirit of the times had not been on the horse, but in everyone's mind. The aesthetic ideal in this period had an inner-shift,that is,from focusing on shape, represontation,objective in the early Tang Dynasty and prosperous Tang Dynasty to focusing on implication,expression and subjectivity. The subjectivity had been promoted, which displayed the practice of Mad cursive as the theory with the persuit of meaning and feeling. I planned to write it in section3 and 4 individually.
