In today's literary world, Jia Pingwa is one of the authors who are most affected by Zen Buddhism,and he always tried to express his Zen Breakfast about the world and life through literature. As Jia Pingwa continuously intensify his study of Zen Buddhism, his creative idea and artistic realm is also showing a rising trend. Accordingly, Jia Pingwa's novels are divided into the following three stages in this paper: In the first phase, the representative works are the "Shangzhou"series of novels as such the"Shangzhou Shanlu","Wild love from mountain", "Xiaoyue Qianben,""Shangzhou"and so on,in these works,the author has described a idyllic world of ShangZhou, to rule out secular filthiness and pursue quiet and peaceful Zen realm, this was vivid projection about Zen thought" Obtains peacefully through carefully examines the innermost feelings". In the second phase, the representative works are the urban-rural novels as such the"Waste","White Night","Tumen","Gao Laozhuang" and so on. These works reproduced truely spiritual barren of the contemporary Chinese urban and rural,and pursued laissez-faire Zen realm,this was profound interpretation about Zen thought" Does not have the innermost feelings rigid,biased ",that was specifically manifested by three aspects: the absurdity of understanding life and death, the conscious pursuit of authenticity, and metaphysical and philosophical thinking. In the third stage, the representative work is the latest long novel "delight" that exhibited the philosophical and calm mentality what people at the bottom of society maintain in the face of the suffering,pursued void and bright Zen realm. The changes of Jia Pingwa creative thinking and aesthetic style that reflect that Zen Buddhism has deeply affected his outlook on life and creative thought.
