The study was designed to test Cheng Du vocational college students'self-worth and internet addiction by adolescent self-worth scale(sws) and Revised Chinese Internet Addiction Scale(CIAS). This paper is aimed to reveal the current situation and interrelationship of vocational college students'self-worth and internet addiction with a purpose of providing a new perspective for vocational college students'internet addiction correction.1.On the whole, vocational college students'self-worth is obviously lower than the general university students. Female students'global self-worth, individual-oriented general self-worth, individual-oriented psychological self-worth, individual-oriented moral self-worth, society-oriented interpersonal self-worth ,society-oriented physiological self-worth and scare scores are higher than male students. Rural vocational college students'individual-oriented physiological self-worth , individual-oriented family self-worth are higher than urban students. Liberal arts students'society-oriented general self-worth, individual-oriented interpersonal self-worth, individual-oriented physiological self-worth,society-oriented physiological self-worth, society-oriented family self-worth and scare scores are higher than Science students. Freshman students'individual-oriented interpersonal self-worth are higher than sophomore students and junior students. Freshman students'individual-oriented family self-worth are higher than junior students. Junior students'society-oriented physiological self-worth are higher than freshman students and sophomore students. Freshma n students'society-oriented family self-worth are higher than junior students.Students with medium grades have higher individual-oriented interpersonal self-worth than those with poor grades. Straight-A students'individual-oriented psychological self-worth are higher than those with medium scores. Straight-A Students'society-oriented interpersonal self-worth are higher than those with medium and poor scores. Straight-A Students'society-oriented physiologicalself-worth are higher than those with medium scores. Straight-A students'scale scores are higher than those with poor scores. Student cadres'self-worthare higher than other students. Students in complete families have higher self-worth than those in single-parent families. Students in well-off and middle-class families have higher self-worth than those in poor families.2.In this study, the number of internet addiction is 28, which accounts for 6 of the total number. The number of internet independence is 63, which accounts for 13.3 of the total number. The number of normal students is 377, which accounts for 80.7 of the total number. Male students have higher internet addiction tendency than female students. In terms of time management dimension, science students have higher scores than liberal art students.Students with medium scores have higher scores than Straight-A students in internet endurance dimension. Students with poor scores have higher scores in time management dimension than those with higher and mediate scores.3.Low self-worth group has a higher internet addiction score than the high self-worth group. Normal internet-usage group has a higher score in global self-worth, society-oriented general self-worth, individual-oriented interpersonal self-worth, society-oriented psychological self-worth, society -oriented moral self-worth, society-oriented family self-worth than the internet addiction group and internet dependence group. In terms of individual-oriented general self-worth, individual -oriented physiological self-worth, normal group has ahigher score than the internet dependence group; in terms of individual-oriented family self-worth and society -oriented physiological self-worth, normalgro up has a higher score than the internet addiction group. Except for individual-oriented moral self-worth, society -oriented interpersonal self-worth, society -oriented physiological self-worth , all the self-worth dimensions are in negative correlation with most of the internet addiction dimensions. Self-worth hasa close connection with the internet addiction, thus a low self-worth individual is likely to be addict in internet.4.Vocational college students'society -oriented moral self-worth has an obvious regression effect on forced abstinence, time management factor and scale scores. society-oriented general self-worth has an obvious regression effect on every factor and scale scores.
