Revolutionary historical novels are an important component of contemporary Chinese novels. Recalling Mongolian revolution of contemporary historical novels, there is a distinctive feature, although the novels in 1950s and 1960s, in 1990s and in the new century are all related to the life of revolutionary movement after the founding of Communist Party of China, however, when different writers with different living experience facing the same historical themes, they made very different historical judgments.Taking Mongolian revolutionary historical novels in the above two periods as the research subjects, this paper observes and compares the novels systematically from three aspects, which are the characters, values and the attitude towards the revolutionary history, by using social and historical criticism method, comparative research method and cultural criticism method to know the changes.The main structure of this paper includes "Introduction", "The change of People's image ",'The change of Values", "The change of attitudes towards revolutionary history", "Conclusion" and the relevant content, as well as the exposition, the analysis and the summary.The conclusions are the change of the characters is from pure class person to complex society person (including the natural property of person); the change of value is from a unified value to the diversified values; the change of attitude towards the revolutionary history is from a pure and simple affirmation to seriously reflect.
