The Relationship About Zhang Zai's Taixu And Qi To Research His Respective Of The Cosmos And Person

The relationship about "taixu" and "qi" is the most important theory in the studies of Zhang zai.Two kinds of theories was the mainstream of the early studies of Zhang zai:Mou zong san built the ontology based on the annotation of taixu's mystique;the other ontology was based on materialistic "qi".The recently years,the precision of the studies is improving.My thesis is trying to find the special trace of Zhangzai's unifying theory of Cosmos and Person by rethinking the relationship of "taixu" and "qi".As one of the five Confucian scholars of Northern Song,Zhang zai was attach importance to the problem---"Nature and Providence" as the others.He found a special cosmism way about the relationship of "taixu" and "qi ",as the first Confucian scholars to mention the unifying relationship of Cosmos and Person.But the relationship of "taixu" and "qi "was so complicated in the theory of Zhang zai,the other scholars was not agreed his study way.Cheng hao Cheng yi and Zhu xi thought "taixu" and "qi" cannot explain the unifying theory of Cosmos and Person,as "taixu" was absolute different from "qi".The fact is Zhang zai's "taixu" and "qi" based on the unifying relationship of Origin theory and Ontology,in according to the interaction of Yin and Yang to build the ontological meaning of "qi",which was carried on Wang chong.Meanwhile Zhang zai used "qi" to differentiate "taixu" from nothing, demonstrated the original and ontological meaning of "taixu",also to say "taixu ji qi". "taixu ji qi" is a eternal movement,which sets up Zhang zai's special cosmism contains with and without.From existence to everything also meaning the movement from "taixu ji qi" to everything.The movement shows the magic of "Dao" that also shows in the movement of "qi".Person gets nature from "taixu ji qi" by the eternal movement,which means Zhang zai's perspective was still the relationship between the nature and providence,the ultimate purpose was finding the way to unify relationship of cosmos and person.My thesis was on basis of most of the early studies and recently studies,trying to illustrate the specialness of Zhang zai's "qi",discuss "taixu" was the same quality with "qi" but without the same form or not,meanwhile investigating Zhang zai's special way of finding the nature of the cosmos in the person's nature.
