| Basic on relative research system of visual culture, and using cross-subject methodology of cultural studies, the thesis tries to start from the visual ascethic style of idol TV series, then analyzes three visual ascethic main aspects in idol TV series which are body, daily life and spectacle images, aims to research on the unique visual ascethic culture in idol TV series.The Chapter one discuss on the idols'physical standard and the body performance which are considered as the visual ascethic basis of the idol TV series, also on the visual practices taken on these bases including body figuring, fashion, cosmetology and related photography methods. Idol TV series have created an unique visual system while remodeling and push out characters'body. Idol's bodies are not only the objects of gazing pleasure but also the visual propagate media to guide audience for consumption.The Chapter two analyze the symbolic daily aesthetic images and artistic living style which idol TV series have created. Although it has surface limits for show visual exhibits to consumers, it opens up the audience's daily aesthetic sight and promotes living aesthetic taste, provokes human sensibility to life and life creating.The Chapter three discuss visual images have strong visual attraction which we call spectacle in idol TV series, including assistant computer effects to express character and story, traveling scenes to romanticize daily life, and various special subjects to bring audience peeping pleasure. These spectacle extend idol TV series'visual aesthetic which based on body and form on daily life.This thesis uses serious but not traditional ways to research visual culture's related issues such as body, vogue, modern life and consumption spectacle, to concern on contemporary social life and cultural situation. We also hope to provide one kind of aspect reference for professional definition and further research on idol TV series.
