Among all the learning strategies,the metacognitive strategy is a higher-level.If learners have a good command of the metacognitive strategy,they are able to do many things,such as proper assessment,good plans,timely monitoring and effective evaluation when necessary.This research uses around the experimental group and the baseline group measured that the experimental design pattern,utilizes from arranges "English Listening Comprehention MetaCognition Strategy Training Material",to the Yiyang Vocational and Technical College 2007 levels newborn(English specialized,non-English specialty) has carried on take the metacognition strategy training as the foundation listening teaching practice,the time is three months.The findings indicated:Regardless of being the English college major or non-English college major,in the metacognitive learning strategy's utilization,the experimental group student achievement enhances the scope to be bigger than the baseline group,passed through the metacognitive learning strategy study training,the student has learned the use of metacognition strategy gradually in English listening study,in the metacognition strategy's survey form,latter measured that before the utilization ratio obviously was higher than measured. In the fourth part of this article,author unifies the experimental study the result,carried on English hearing metacognition strategy to the quality student the related question to carry on the thorough careful discussion.The author believed that this research through the experiment and thought finally has certain teachableness and the validity the metacognition strategy introduction university English listening teaching's pattern,but may also promote the metacognitive learning strategy to English study in other domains...
