A Study On The Poems Of Baoting

The Late Qing Dynasty is the most special period of Chinese history, owing to the grand changes, that's the modernization of the policy, the economy and the culture. During this period which last about 50 years, we should pay attention to Baoting, a Manchu poet and member of the Royalties of that ages. The reason why he became the highlight of that particular time benefits from the following aspects, such as the life experience mixed up by frustrations and legends, the dedication ideas for the nation and the people, and the immortal poetry talent in the field of literature. However, the study of Baoting caught little attention in the past owing to some reasons. Thanks to the development of the minority literature especially the studying of the Manchu, more and more people devote their attention to the study of Baoting, one of the Royalties.This thesis mainly focuses on the poetry basing on the previous research and combines all kinds of data, such as the life and ideas. Furthermore, this thesis estimates Baoting's status in the Royalty poetry field and the Late Qing poetry field. The thesis encloses the list of Baoting's friends which would come in hand if somebody wants to make a further study.
