GuiLiu Mandarin(桂柳官è¯), one of the secondary dialect of the Southwest Mandarin,is the second largest dialect in GuangXi Zhuang autonomous region. It is mainly used in the northern and central GuangXi. A deep Study of GuiLiu Mandarin helps us to further understand the development and tracks of common language in modern times. By describing the phonological system and comparing the differences between the representative dialects of Guilin(æ¡‚æž—), LiuZhou(柳州),LiPu(è”æµ¦) and BaiShi(白石),this paper discusses the historical strata of the early form of GuiLiu Mandarin and its phonological structure.This article consists of four parts. Part one introduces the purpose and significance of the study, as well as the overview of the geography, history and language of the former named four regions.Part two,which including chapter II and chapter III, reveals the phonological features by describing the consonant, rhyme and tone system of the four dialects, and makes an internal comparison of them.Part three,Which is the focal and difficult point of this paper, discusses the historical stratas by analysing the different change of the ancient Chinese in Guiliu Mandarin.Part four cleares up the phonological system of Guiliu Mandarin and Compares it to that of ZhongYuanYinYun(ä¸åŽŸéŸ³éŸµ).At the end of the paper ,the author probes into the development of Chinese mandarin after its entering into Guangxi. |
