Research On Calligraphy Of The Engravings On Mount Yi

This thesis concentrates on the research about the calligraphy of "The Engravings on Mount Yi".It presents an overall collection and classification about the relevant information of "The Engravings on Mount Yi". The first chapter gives an panoramic view of the "The Engravings on Mount Yi". The research of the calligraphy is mainly about the evolution of the Chinese characters and the development of the styles. In this thesis these two aspects are given special study respectively. In the second chapter, by the research method of making a contrast between the present and the previous ones, it futher clarifies and explains the Chinese characters of "The Engravings on Mount Yi" in an attempt to identify its authenticity, revise the inadequacy of the research made by the learners in the Qing Danasty and expain the value and the evolution of the Chinese characters of "The Engravings on Mount Yi ". The third chapter focuses on the arts of the calligaphy of "The Engravings on Mount Yi". It relates the styles of the calligraphy from three aspects which include the calligaphy of Li Si, the calligraphy of the engravings and the calligraphy of Chinese characters of the system in Qin State. The fourth chapter gives an explanation of the influence on the seal character for later times exerted by "The Engravings on Mount Yi". In the second,third and fourth chapters, they reflect the artistic value of calligraphy from different aspects.
