Comment On The Theory Of Marx's Individual And Contemporary Value

As an important part of historical view, the theory of individual is also theoretical basis of social political philosophy and ethical philosophy. It's showed by ideological history that, the theory of individual not only has become important issue of various social historical philosophy, but also often become one of the focus of ideological he debates, as it concerned with both practical knowledge and value knowledge. Individual views on how to know the relation between individuals and society, on the role those individuals played in history, or on individuals' value and freedom, often different from each other or even sharply opponent.In the process of establish historical materialism, Marx scientifically stated the essence of history and the dialectical movement of the contradictions between human and nature, human and society or human and himself contained in history. Moreover, he as well gave a reasonable answer to the problem of individual's historical generation, individual's status, and the relation between individual's comprehensive development and human's freedom. However ,the theory of Marxist individual had been cast a shadow ,been deformed or distorted in practical social life since it's foundation which because of not only much misunderstanding or criticism in it's theory ,also because of the deviation in guiding ideology and the errors in practice of Soviet Union and our country 's planned economy. With the rise of Ideological Emancipation and theoretical amendment, Marxist individual view has been gradually taken serious with and thus has showed its strong theoretical vitality since the implementation of our country's reform and opening-up policy. Furthermore, individuals have acquired unprecedented freedom since the foundation and protection of the socialist market economy. In this condition, personal' rights and freedoms have been gradually paid attention to and have gained more legal protection. In a word, reform and opening-up not only has brought gigantic development to economy, but also made individual's position reset again which make Marxist individual view acquired more solid realistic basis.In modern China, it's an urgent task in ideological and cultural fields to construct and improve value system adapted to socialist market economy. To do this, in one hand, we should conscientiously sum up the profound lessons of individual's been bound or ignored by distorted individualism in traditional planning system. In other hand, we ought to conscientiously research the western value system of individualism, and gradually establish modern individual view characteristic by group harmony, which targets at personal's comprehensive development.
