This thesis tries to research the relation between Zero anaphora and Basic topic, the area and function of zero anaphora.We think the core area of zero anaphora is the basic topic,and the function of zero anaphora refers to hint information subject:The brief introduction of each chapter is as follows:Chapter one:Zero anaphora and related notion.This chapter introduce the ideas of "zero anaphora" and related notion,besides,this chapter demonstrate the basic study route,study methods,and meaning of this study.Chapter two:Basic topic and Zero anaphora's core area.This chapter introduce and redefine the concept of " basic topic" from Speech Plan's angle, points out that the core area of zero anaphora is the basic topic.Chapter three: information subject and Zero anaphora's function. This chapter mainly studies the Zero anaphora's function from generative angle,and points out that the function of zero anaphora refers to hint information subject.The Zero anaphora in chief sentence hints information subject,and the Zero anaphora in subordinate sentence hints information subject's anamorphosis.Chapter four: the mode of Zero anaphora.
