| In the recent years,as the ecological crisis becomes more serious,more and more people have turned their attention to Thoreau's Walden.The ecological thoughts in the book have offered fresh illuminations to people who have to face more and more ecological problems.The harmonious picture between human and nature that the book has presented has become the spiritual homestead in this modern crisis-ridden society.This essay tries to go through researches about Walden from abroad for about one century as well as its reception in China as for a systematic analysis combining with current ecological theory,translation,the cognition and communication in China.This paper is divided into three parts.Combining with western comments and the analysis to the text,the first part gives a systemic discussion about the ecological thoughts.The second part is a short pectination to the acceptance in China.The last part pays more attention to the ecological thoughts of Walden in China based on the translating edition.The creativity of this paper lies in the analysis to the limitations of Chinese version by the communication of ecological thoughts as well as the insufficiency and limitation of the authoritative version circumspectly. |
