It does great meanings for the development of Chinese art at the end of the 20th century. In this period, the art forms are widely divergent from that before the 1980's. The form of artistic creation is basically draw lessons from that of western after the 20th century. It has been used for only few years, Chinese art re-deducted the western art development course during more 100 years. Although, some problems happened in this course.There are three issues to be refereed to in this dissertation.Part 1: With regard to expression of"ugly"in western art, I card the development and change of aesthetics. When it goes into the modernism of western art, the traditional sense of aesthetic has been faded. As people no longer need the taste to be representational zed, they can't justice the post-modern works by traditional aesthetic experience.Part 2: To compare the factor of"ugly"in western art with that emerged from Chinese art since the 1990's, as well as the emergence of slowly and Western works of art to compare. To illustrate Summarize the development of Chinese art since the 20th century the changes of Chinese art goes along under the circumstance of art aesthetic diversification. Narrow-formed creation changed into that of diversification. Different forms of art from western and Chinese fused unprecedented in this period. Aesthetic in the arts is not only the opposition but also of harmony and unity.Part 3: To come through the analysis of the function and value in "ugly" art works, clarify my opinion. Discuss the creation and development of the new art-forms, also the influences to the esthetic orientation of Chinese, therefore to find problems.
