Products'"shape"is physical form linked to functions, materials and techniques, color, structure and ergonomics belonging to substantial property of product. But the"state"of product refers to the sensate appearance and expression which belonging to emotional property of product. Bi-property of product form is a combination of substantial property of"shape"and emotional property of"state".First I introduced the background and significance of the research, as well as the referred fields and methods. Nowadays the social material products have been greatly enriched and technology is homogenization trend is becoming more and more oblivious. To designers, the key elements is to have a comprehensive and profound understanding of products'substantial property and immaterial property, and also a deep and systematic understanding of"products environment".Secondly, I do a detailed study of products'bi-property. I discuss"substances"material attribute form material and technology, ergonomics, function and color aspects of product design; and its emotional attribute from the interaction of people and products, the emotional experience of products, the emotional codes of the shape, color, and material. Also I make a brief description towards"people"and"environment"in affairs system based on science of human affairs.Finally, based on science of human affairs I get a definition"products are the reflection of human, we can define people through products". Also I build a reflection skeleton based on product's substantial & immaterial property and people material & emotional needs. And I proposed a notion that design must surround with harmony between the human and environment. At the end of my article I confirmed this reflection skeleton through actual examples, unceasingly perfect the work system to enhance the overall status of the thesis, as well as the feasibility of the theory.
