A Study Of The Story Genres Of Yijianzhi

"Yijianzhi", the largest personal collection of weird stories in classical Chinese compiled by Hong Mai in Song Dynasty. The stories of "Yi Jian Zhi" is voluminous and extensive. Comparing with the "Taiping Collections,the Classical Chinese Ghost with the previous novels ,"Yijianzhi"have enormous comparability, while becoming the inexhaustible source of material for the later novels and operas.This makes the study of the story genres of "Yi Jian Zhi" possible.In this paper, I try to reach a overall classification for "Yi Jian Zhi" by role-function classification and comparative Study ,as the basis for the study of story origins.The full text is divided into four sections:Part I: Introduction. Including the reasons of research, the status of research and the methods of research.Part II: The study of story classification of "Yi Jian Zhi". First of all, analyse and compare the classification of "Taiping Collections" and "Category Yi Jian Zhi" . Based on this, try to grasp the overall content of the story of "Yi Jian Zhi". Then based on the story structure,divide the stories of "Yi Jian Zhi" into eight categories:loving-type, encountering-type,dreaming-type,persuading-type,living-type,detecting-type, biographies and miscellaneous recorded. Finally, clear the scope and limits of each type, commentate the mainly content respectively and point out the characteristics of times and cultural connotation which reflect from "Yi Jian Zhi".Part III: The study of story origins of "Yi Jian Zhi" . On the basis of the study of story classification of "Yi Jian Zhi", this part aims to make a comparative analysis of vertical for the and living-type.The loving-type can show the new change of Ghost, while the living-type showing the innovation of "Yi Jian Zhi".As a result, the salient features of the times and cultural implication of "Yi Jian Zhi" can be highlighted.Part IV: Conclusion. By the above part of the analysis and discussion, make a comprehensive description.
