The formation of Guilin cultural city in anti-Japanese war promoted the whole anti-Japanese publicity and give impetus to anti-Japanese culture a lot, especially in journalistic Enterprise. A lot of journalists who had worked in other provinces and countries achieved much in Guangxi province. Many press groups cooperated well with other journalists and Antifascist groups in a relative harmonious environment. A lot of press which had native and international influence emerged at that time.The paper will present you the journalism activities carried by foreign journalists in Guilin. The goal of the paper is Researching after the historical meaning of the foreign cultural personages' journalism activities. Combining the case analytic method with in-depth searching after the historical background, the author manages to make a correct evaluation for the foreign cultural personages' journalism activities and offer a proper reference for Anti-Japanese war journalism historical research. It is started with objective conditions which attracted many foreign journalists to work in Guilin, narrate how did the conditions advance the journalism in Guilin. Next, it emphasizes in researching of the cultural personages' progressive activities, especially the activities of some famous journalists such as Hu Yuzhi and Fan Changjiang. It is based on the key roles achieved by these progressive personages, keeps eyes on the outstanding contributions of progressive press groups in publicizing Anti-Japanese National United Front thought of Communist Party of China, caring for the development of local journalism and training journalism talent. It can be concluded that foreign cultural personages' journalism brought active influence in publicizing Anti-Japanese National United Front thought and journalism development, the historical status of their journalism activities can be summarized as a result.
