The paper is to analyze the main traits of the poems of three emperors, namely,Weiwu Emperor Cao Cao, Weiwen Emperor Cao Pi and Weiming Emperor Cao Rui, and explore the relationships between these emperors'personalities and their poems. As emperors, their poems definitely have their distinctive styles. Generally, the poems of emperors differ from those of traditional poets in that they show unique personalities, ideas and values; Specifically, personalities of emperor poets are not the same. Analyzing from the angle of"emperor poets", we can not only understand the specialties of their works, but also look into the differences among these emperor poets and the links between a poet and an emperor. From this point, the relationships between the different personalities among the three generations of Caowei dynasty emperors and their poetry styles are very typical. So in my opinion, defining them as"emperor poets", we can explore the connection of the three emperors'different psychological dispositions with their styles of poems better.Based on traditional theories of classical literature and through the analaysis of the poetry composition, the paper looks into the three generations of emperors'psychological dispositions and how their environments of growing up influence their poems by means of comparison and poetry interrelated research. The paper focuses on how the three generations of emperors'subtle differences of their ideas and features in power affect their styles of writing poems. Cao Cao, a warlord in war period, wrote poems showing his ambitions; Cao Pi was an emperor with both literature and military achievements, whose poems reflect more literature characteristics than those of his father, Cao Cao; Cao Rui, an emperor experiencing the transition of dynasty wrote the poets which contain more self-awareness, personally special and literal. Their poets also accordingly indicate different social conscience: the conscience of rise and down of dynasties from the poems of Cao Cao, the conscicenc of the gain and lose of power from those of Cao Pi and the conscience of the drifting of soul from those of Cao Rui. Influenced by their different characters, the poems of the three generations of emperors of Wei dynasty reflect deep thinking, beautiful words and graceful sentences respectively. The paper also analyzes their different understanding of life and values. Finally, we conclude that different environments create different dispositions and ideas as an emperor, and different personalities and ideas create different styles of poems as well. The poems of the three emperors have different unique values and strength. The poems of Cao Cao are spectacular, those of Cao Pi are beautiful in literature and those of Cao Rui are reflective of personalities. Meanwhile, all of their works have achieved the combinations of their status of emperors and literature to reflect the important evolutions of societies and human being's psychologies. As the major members of"Yexia literature", the three emperors show the characteristics of family literature and regional literatures earlier. In both literature and culture aspects, their legacies are extremely valuable for the following generations to study history and classical literature.
