A large number of music works were sing by Teresa Teng have become part of classic Chinese songs, and make a profound and meaningful effect. To Chinese pop music she played a role in connecting, she's emergence marks the Chinese popular music has entered a period of prosperity and development.This article based on the reasons and social background why her songs was so popular as an entry point, and her most representational songs as analysis chief source to find out music thought of Teresa Teng's songs, insight into the art of her singing quality. The innovation of this thesis is to explore the characteristics of Teresa Teng's singing art, which is a gap in previous research. This article analyzed modern classical harmony in her most representative album "Light Exquisite Feeling", at last, summed up the society characteristics in Teresa Teng's songs, as well as contribution and influence to pop music in China present and future.
