Recently,the research of organizational culture becomes one of the critical issues in the fields of organizational behavior,and the core of organizational culture is organizational values.Organizational values is generally defined as beliefs held by group members in objectives that are preferable to,ways and rules that achieving the objectives.The purposes of this dissertation were to investigate organizational values,as well as to study the consequences of organizational values.For these purposes,some standard research methods,such as literature review,interview and survey were used in there research.In the same time,exploratory factor analysis,confirmatory factor analysis,regression analysis was also applied for data analysis.510 employees in 26 different kinds of groups which were from 10 cities in China were surveyed.The main conclusions are as the following:Organizational values consisted of four factors for Chinese employees,which include employee orientation,group orientation,rules orientation and responsibility orientation.The reliability and validity of organizational values questionnaire were highly enough.Second,there is discussion about the relationship between organizational values and their consequences,such as job satisfaction,organizational commitment.It was discovered that employees orientation,rules orientation and responsibility orientation was positively correlated with their job satisfaction;employee orientation,group orientation,rules orientation and responsibility orientation was positively correlated with their organizational commitment.Third,there is discussion about the demographical variables" effects on organizational values.The demographical variables included sex,age,education level, job tenure and the ownership of groups.It was found that the demographical variables had some significant efforts on organizational values.Current limitations and future research orientation were also discussed at the end of the dissertation.
