The Study On Needs Structure And Motivation Mode Of College Student Leaders

This paper takes Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory for the basic theoretical framework,combined with practical,uses the self-designed questionnaire to study quantitatively on the needs structure and motivation mode of 600 college student leaders who come from southwest university of political science and law,sichuan normal university,chengdu university of technology and Leshan teacher's college,the results show that:1.the self-designed questionnaire "needs structure of college student leaders" had good reliability and validity.Exploratory factors analysis showed that the needs structure of college student leaders is constituted by six factors which were basic needs,security needs,communicative needs,contribution needs,respect needs, development needs,.2.The violent degree of six needs of college student leaders are successively communicative needs,contribution needs,respect needs,development needs,basic needs,security needs.3.The factors of needs structure of college student leaders show some differences at variables of gender,age,working years,duty and professional direction.4.The self-designed questionnaire "motivation mode of college student leaders" had good reliability and validity.Exploratory factors analysis showed that the motivation mode of college student leaders is constituted by six factors which were material motivation,security motivation,communicative motivation,respect motivation,development motivation,contribution motivation.5.The violent degree of six motivations of college student leaders are successively development motivation,material motivation,security motivation,communicative motivation,respect motivation,contribution motivation.6.The six motivation modes show some differences at variables of gender,age, working years,duty and professional direction.7.The needs is effective predictive variables of motivation modes.To carry out the motive from the needs is effective way which accord with the psychological rule.
