Investigation And Analysis On The Job Seeking Anxiety Of College Students In Guizhou Area

Based on the literature review,individual interview and open questionnaire investigation,this research proposes the source structure of college students' anxiety of seeking employment.1,085 college students were tested with self-made seeking employment anxiety questionnaire.After statistical correction,it forms the formal questionnaire.And through the factor analysis,the results show:(1) The anxious sources of college students are made up by five factors:individual resource factor,macroscopic job seeking pressure factor,job seeking prospect factor,personality factor and society support factor."Job Seeking Anxiety Questionnaire for College Student" has a preferable reliability and validity.It is an ideal tool to survey college graduates' job seeking anxiety and its reason.(2) There are differences in the job seeking anxiety to different sex's students.The female students' average scores is higher than male's in the factors of state anxiety,trait anxiety,personality, job prospect,society support,self-confidence and job pressure.Among them,the difference in personality factor achieves the remarkable level;the others differences have not achieved the remarkable level.(3) The job seeking anxiety of the college students from different colleges' category(key or non-key) exist certainly differences.The anxiety of non-key college students is more remarkable than the key colleges'.Only in the factor of individual resource,the difference achieves in individual resources this influence factor obviously,displays the scores of key colleges is lower than the non-key colleges.(4) There are differences in the college students' job seeking anxiety to whether holded student cadres.Who holded have no significant differences to who no holded in the factors of individual resource,macroscopic job seeking pressure,job seeking prospect,personality and society support.(5) There are differences in the college students' job seeking anxiety to different age.As a whole,above 22 and below have no significance difference to influence job seeking anxiety.Looked from the mean value comparison that the anxious degree of under 22's are lower than over 22's in third factor.Looked in 5 influence factors,only in the third factor:Seeks employment in the prospect this influence factor the difference to achieve obviously,displays to be bigger than 22 year-old to divide equally is higher than selects is smaller than 22 years old.(6) In the five factors affecting Guizhou area university student to seek employment in the anxiety,individual resource factor has a certain validity to forecast students' state anxiety and trait anxiety.The individual resource factor,macroscopic job seeking pressure factor and job seeking prospect factor have a certain validity to forecast students' state anxiety.But the personality factor, individual resource factor,the society support factor have certain validity to forecast student's trait anxiety.(7) Through the interview and investigation,the results indicated that Guizhou area university students job seeking anxiety manifested as many kinds of psychological questions.It is affected by individual resource factor,macroscopic job seeking pressure factor,job seeking prospect factor, personality factor,society support factor and so on.But job seeking anxiety is only question in an individual development condition,it can be solved through the society,the school and student themselves.
