Based on analyzing operatic script and music creation techniques of Giuseppe Verdi's Opera "FALSTAFF", this article mainly elaborates the art features of FALSTAFF in the Opera FALSTAFF and the techniques with which Verdi used in shaping the comedy image. The aim of this paper is to reveal the comedy art features of the Opera "FALSTAFF" by comedy image analysis, with a view to a more comprehensive and thorough grasp of this opera.The full text is divided into three parts, the first part majors on the writing background and subject matter source of "FALSTAFF", and also outlined Verdi's creation features in various periods and the role of this opera "FALSTAFF" in Verdi's works. The second part explores the comedic significance and value of the comedy image in this opera FALSTAFF, and from Boito's opera of the script, reads this comic image of FALSTAFF. The third part mainly analyzes the way and the music techniques which Verdi used in promoting and shaping the FALSTAFF comedy image.Although Verdi's opera "FALSTAFF" made for a larger deletions and changes on the circumstances of both the content and structure of the original "The Merry Windsor Niangmen children" and "Henry IV", but in my opinion, the comedy image FALSTAFF in the opera still maintained a high degree of unity with the original image. The reason lies in Boito's success of changes to the original maturity, and more important in the sophistication of Verdi's musical skills and his keen observation on characters and his rich life experiences. Verdi made full use of the musical expression in his work "FALSTAFF", and gave a greater significance in characterization and the deep comedy connotation than the original. It is the perfect combination of music and drama that shaped the classic image of the "FALSTAFF". And its deeper meaning of this comedy is precisely the social value of the image. It enables people to think deep and reflect on his own life when watching this opera "FALSTAFF".
