The Management Philosophy Of Daoism

Management philosophy is a scientific investigation of the basic standpoints, opinions, and belief of management. Political management, which is a branch of public administration, is that governing class applies scientific administrational concepts, and methods to public affairs in the process of ruling over a state, to get the ideal society of development. The traditional Chinese culture, which was longstanding and well, both extensive and profound, Confucianism, Daoism and Buddhism in it are all contained the thoughts of management.This paper attempts to discuss about several basic problems of the management philosophy of Daoism with early Daoist scriptures. Firstly, the article provides a most basic ground of philosophy for the action of management with an argument for management thoughts of Daoism. Secondly, it specifies a primary theory of management philosophy of Daoism, and recognizes the deep effect of political management. Finally, with taking the political management of Daoism itself for example, and combining Chinas actual conditions, I will probe the momentous value and current significance of Daoism in modern management. Through an analysis of these levels, I try to represent a utilitarian value of Daoism, and promote the importance of the culture of oriental management.
