Li Yu's dual nature of life philosophy is embodied in the syncretism of Neo-Confucianism and dissoluteness. Living at the turn of Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty, Li Yu, a Confucian, manages business, living an unconventional life, pursuing the dual nature life philosophy. On the one hand, Li Yu is very dissolute, on the other hand, he pays much attention to the Confucian feudal ethics. Li Yu converts dissoluteness to Neo-Confucianism the unique interpretation of dissoluteness. As a eccentric scholar with civic consciousness, Li Yu deeply concerns over the survival of the individual due to his sensitivity to social changes and marginal nature of his value tropism, which enables him to try to reconstruct the new social relations which are more suitable to the human nature based on individual consciousness so that Li Yu's behavior gets a transitional meaning out of the tradition, that is, a try to break through. the traditional mode of life in civic ration. The first part of the article is "Advocating dissoluteness" which comprehensively interprets Li Yu's " dissoluteness "from three aspects of "The dissoluteness heritage", "The dissoluteness habits" and "The moderate dissoluteness " .The second part is obeying "Neo-Confucianism which includes "Converting Saints "," The dissolute Neo-Confucianism "and" The Neo-Confucian dissoluteness. The third part is " marginal personality " which reveals the reasons of Li Yu's dual nature of life philosophy.
