A Study On The Adverb In Zabaozangjing

Translated Buddhist scriptures are of great value in studying the Chinese language. It is more valuable in the study of mid-ancient Chinese language. More and more researchers are studying the Buddhist scriptures. It's also something we must do. Someone researches the words of Zabaozangjing. The dissertation makes a study on Zabaozangjing to discusse all the adverbs that appear in the texts, in order to show a side-look of the adverbs in this period.It is divided into two parts.In the first parts, all the adverbs in Zabaozangjing are listed and discussed thoroughly to demonstrate the great value of the words in adverb study. In the second part, some typical adverbs and related question are discussed.After the analysis, we draw the conclusion that the adverb system in Zabaozangjing is very different from that in the earlier time. It is distinctive. There are lots of new meaings and new words, it has a combound of the new words and the old ones, many disyllabic adverbs and unstable structures. It manifest the important value of Zabaozangjing in language materials.
