Initial Research On The Design Of Commercial Complex Guiding Sign System Inspiring The Vitality

Shopping is a basic social activity of human beings. While stepping into the post-industrial information age, science and technology innovation release the people from the heavy and long hours' work and endow them with more leisure time. Development of social productivity, improvement of consumption level, and the substantial change of commodity species change the shopping behaviors substantially. The shopping behavior expands from the Material Consumption focusing on goods to the Spirit Consumption cultural focusing on culture, recreation and leisure activities and Socialization Consumption the focusing on social contacts, experiencing, and public activities. However, the high efficiency, and fast rhythm of working, and independent isolation of modern urban living patterns cause people favors weak. Urban life has become tedious, and people need to have passional and living public space. In this situation, the commercial development turns commercial internal environment to not only commody trading site, but the multifunctional social activities center and public favorite public communication space integrating with display services, leisure and culture. It becomes a way of entertainment, communication, access to information, social contact.Guiding sign system in commercial complex not only has the fundamental function of guiding and recognizing, but also inspires the commerce's vitality, guarantee the basic activities like shopping and consumption to carry on and to promote the occurrence of spiritual and social activities, so as to make a living the commerce space.This dissertation is totally divided into five chapters:The first part, including chapter one and two, is the basis theory. It define the content, concept ,orientation background of the research.The second part put forward the dissertation's argumentation. It consist put forward the design of commercial complex Guiding Sign System inspiring the Vitality and the design direction.The third part, including chapter four, analyze and solve the problem. it set out from to inspire the commercial complex's vitality, summarized the design principles and strategies of how to inspire the vitality. The force part is example analysis.The last part is the epilogue.
