At present, although the scholars have generally recognized the importance of humanistic education to cultivation of talents in high vocational colleges, the course of college Chinese language and literature course is still being neglected, meanwhile, with the increasing marginalization of the subject, few high vocational colleges offer the course of college language and literature. The college language and literature education in high vocational colleges has attracted great concern of many researchers.In accordance with the idea of "document analysis (survey)~investigation of the current situation—question proposing—causes and solutions", the study determined the direction of research on the basis of analysis of humanistic education and the summary of educational research data on college language and literature in high vocational college and found out the current situation of the course offing of college language and literature and the problems of high vocational college in Chengdu by the way of investigation and research of the current situation, moreover, the study analyzed the reason for that and put forward some solutions to the problem and countermeasures from the perspective of combination of humanistic education and mother's tongue education. The researchers developed the study on the course setting, the course evaluation, the teaching objectives, the teaching content, the teaching activities, the course materials, the class hour, etc. of the course of college language and literature of high vocational colleges in Chengdu. On the basis of the study, the conclusion is obtained as follows:As many high vocational colleges in Chengdu haven't pay much attention to the course of college language and literature, the course of college language and literature in these colleges takes lower percentage of course setting and less class hours and faces subsistence crisis. We have to change the erroneous understanding of other teachers on the course of college language and literature and the college language and literature education also requires teaching reform.The course of language and literature in high vocational college has the characteristics of humanistic, aesthetics and instrument simultaneously and we have to attach importance to the three characteristics which should be highlighted in teaching. The teaching objective of the course of college language and literature should be as follows: the course should carry forward the essence of culture heritage and highlight the humanistic spirit while cultivating aesthetic values and the capacity of the students of Chinese reading, understanding, appreciation and evaluation, improving their capacity of language expression and communication and comprehensively improving their human quality, aesthetic capacity and language proficiency.With regard to the teaching material of college language and literature used currently, the students of high vocational colleges in Chengdu have lower degree of satisfaction. The edition of the teaching material of college language and literature of high vocational college could take two main lines as the framework, wherein, one of the main lines is that the cultivation of human quality, aesthetic qualities and professional capacity of the students can be taken as the clue of the selection of articles, the other main line is that practice can be carried out with the clue of cultivation of the capacity of reading, writing and oral communication of the students, therefore, the comprehensive language capacity of the students can be improved fully. The new teaching materials can take into account of the characteristics of humanistic, aesthetics and instrument of the course of college language and literature.The teaching activities of the course of college language and literature of high vocational college in Chengdu have some problems, such as poor development of extra-curricular language activities and poor application of modern information and communication technology, etc., which should be solved effectively.The language course has many types of resources and covers a wide range, therefore, we should develop and integrate the resources of the course of college language and literature of high vocational college positively and expand the period and space of college language education while integrating college language education into the students' daily life fully, improving the human quality, aesthetic ability and language ability of the students effectively and underlining the characteristics of college language education strongly.We should build a system of language courses for high vocational college and set up the system of language course from many different angles and at various levels in connection with the talent training requirement of different majors and the language learning requirement of different students and create space for cultivation of practical Chinese application ability of the students and realization of differential and personalized development. The system of language course of high vocational college should consist of five major courses of comprehensive basis, reading appreciation, oral communication, writing and language.
